Rotarians from Passport One were busy last week with service projects focused on assisting those members of our community that need food security.  President Bill spent a morning working with La Familia in South Sacramento as they distributed fresh produce and school lunches.  Beth Ellinthorpe and Sara Thornros spent a day at the Auburn Food Pantry preparing meals and sorting food for distribution.  Almost 30 million Americans have reported in recent months that they are struggling with food insecurity and do not have enough to eat.  Programs like these are important for helping us pull together to address this problem.  We hope to see you volunteering with similar programs in your community, and if you cannot give your time, there is always a need for food and cash donations.
