Al Frumkin Earns a Triple Crown

Al Frumkin has joined the elite group of Rotarians who have earned the Triple Crown in Foundation giving. The three achievements required to having a Triple Crown distinction are:

                  1. Major Donor (He has contributed more than $10,000 to the Foundation.)
                  2. Bequest Society (He is a 4-Diamond level and has given more than $100,000 to the Rotary                               Foundation via his estate plan)
                  3. Paul Harris Society (He gives $1000 a year to the Foundation)

He was a member and past president of the Rotary club of San Ramon. He served as Governor of District 5160 (1993- 94), Zone Institute Chair (1998), G.E.T. Chair (1999) and an instructor, G.N.A.T.S. Chair (2000). He was a Representative of the President of RI (20 times including two districts in India), and he has served as the Zone 23 Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator (2001-2003).

The list of Al’s service to Rotary goes on and on, but the last two things that need to be mentioned are that Al was named the most Distinguished Past District Governor of Zone 23 in the years 2011-2022 and was awarded the very prestigious Citation of Meritorious Service in 2000. You may not understand the meaning of all Al’s Rotary honors, but trust that he is an incredible Rotarian who is dedicated to Rotary and to the Foundation. He has been a Rotarian for more than 30 years, and we are honored to have him in our Passport club.
