It was an early morning, but worth getting up at the crack-of-dawn for a meeting with the Point West Rotary Club. The energy in the room was high as both clubs entered the Dante Club and reconnected with old friends and met new friends. Once everyone was seated President Rick Bixler opened the meeting and went through the formalities and announcements. We then sat back as Ed Goldman, from the Sacramento Business Journal, spun his stories about his time as a journalist and some of his memorable stories. If you ever have an opportunity to hear him speak, run, don't walk, to get a seat and sit back for the laughs to begin.
