Welcome to a new Rotary year! I'm so excited to be leading Passport and continuing our efforts to make a difference in our community and in our world. Our theme this year is Passport Connects Rotary and that's exactly what we will be doing this year!. Christie Harrison is our Club Administrator and if you know Christie like I know Christie, she likes to have a lot of fun! She and her team, Monique Harris and Beth Ellinthorpe, are planning several fun events that can be shared with your family members (or not 
). We have a night at the theater to see West Side Story planned this month and a River Cats game planned in August. We will also be throwing in some Fireside Chats here and there along with some trivia/game nights and much much more.

We will also be throwing in some Fireside Chats here and there along with some trivia/game nights and much much more.Our Service team this year is working hard to provide more opportunities not only for service with other clubs but for our own club! Sheri Katz, Trudy Harris, and Ed Truijillo will be providing us (and our family members too) opportunities to get out in our communities and help those in need. Janice Gage is continuing the Golden Giving visits and adding a literary enhancement to our giving. Trudy will be working to arrange a Dr. Seuss week with a school or organization in early March, the Rotary Club of Roseville would like to work with us on a project helping a women's shelter (more info to come) and Al Frumkin, our Foundation Director, will also be talking to us about a wheelchair project that will help us fulfill our need to make an impact globally. More on those details to come.We will also be taking T-Shirt orders soon so we can let everyone know that Rotary Passport One makes a difference!
Vocation, vocation, vocation! It sounds like it can be boring, but really it's not! We have plans to put together a club directory so if you are in need of a special service, you can run right out to a Rotary Member and know that you will receive top rate service and help. Let's celebrate what we do! September will be a month we can focus on YOU and what you do. Whether you are actively working or retired, we all have something we can provide to each other. Let's utilize our resources and make our club stronger for the efforts! We will also be highlighting you and your businesses in our newsletter so be expecting a phone call soon!
Lastly, please know that all the board members have an "Open Door" policy. We are here to serve your needs. If there is something concerning you or something you are enjoying, give us a jingle! We want to hear what you have to say so we can work together to make sure we are all on the same page.
