Rotary Passport One was proud to participate in the District 5180 Pinewood Derby with our car dedicated to eradicating polio. District Governor Brent Hastey collected the finest Rotary minds to build wooden cars to race down a ramp just as scouts across the country have for generations. The Passport One car, built with great care by our own Bob Mutchler, unexpectedly flew off the track in its first two heats. We believe this was because of issues in how the track was constructed rather than any issues with the vehicle. Our car performed much better in later heats when it wasn't in the first position.
