World Polio Day

Today is World Polio Day

Rotary International has designated Monday, October 24 as the day for Rotarians to focus on our worldwide effort to end polio. It's a great time for us to do something proactive to help the cause. Here are a few suggestions:
  1. Visit endpolio.org and sign the Make History petition. It is a petition to urge world leaders to provide critical funding to end polio forever.

  2. Write Facebook and Twitter posts to tell people about the good Rotary is doing through PolioPlus.

  3. While you are on the endpolio.org site, you can make a donation by clicking the Donate option. Every donation that we commit to polio eradication will be tripled by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

  4. Visit your MyRotary site and go into the Rotary Global Rewards. There are many fantastic discounts on travel, services, entertainment and more. The Rotary Foundation gets a percentage every time we use one of the offers.
Upcoming Events

Rotary Passport 1st Annual Holiday Party

Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 5pm - 8pm
Monks Cellar in Roseville

240 Vernon Street, Roseville, CA 95678

Join us to celebrate the holidays!  Meet and mingle with old and new members...take photos with Santa...and in the spirit of Rotary, support our community!

Bring a $10 - $25 gift card (Target, Wal-Mart, etc) to be donated to  Lilliput Children's Services, a Northern California non-profit specializing in foster care and adoption services. As you all know, foster children have many needs, but at this time of the year, wouldn’t it be a beautiful gift if we could help them buy something special for themselves?

Service Hours

Another month has passed and it's time to submit your volunteer hours.  Whether you volunteered your time with another organization (local food banks, St Vincent DePaul, Girl Scouts, etc), donated blood, or helped out another Rotary club with an event or community service, you can submit your hours at the link below.
