President's Message -December

We're having our holiday party this Friday, December 17th at The Officers Club.  Thank you to all who have RSVP'd and for those who are bringing much needed gifts for the kids at the John Morse Therapeutic Center K-8 School.  These kids are emotionally challenged and need our help.  You've all been amazing in answering the call for help!

The school has also asked for some warm winter coats for their clothes closest for 3rd - 7th graders (mostly boys).  If you would also like to bring a gently used or new coat to the party, it would be much appreciated.

Don't forget to wear your best HOLIDAY UGLY SWEATER!  Winners of the sweater contest get a $25 gift card!  There are additional games and prizes too.  Let the partying begin!!
We will be meeting at:

Friday, December 17th at 6pm
The Officer's Club at 3410 Westover Street, McClellan Park, CA 95652

Please RSVP for a final food headcount!

DISTRICT CONFERENCE APRIL 29TH - MAY 1ST

There is still time to sign up for the 2022 District Conference. This year the conference will be held at the Montbleu Resort, Casino & Spa in South Lake Tahoe.  In addition to some great speakers, there will be events and fellowship.  You won't want to miss the Blu Night Club organized by our own Sara Thornros and Beth Ellinthorpe.  Great times to be had!

Go to the District 5180 website to register for the conference and then don't forget to go to the link to reserve your hotel room.  See you there!

Amazing Members

Just look at what our members have been up to:
Couldn't miss these two smiling faces as Brian & Claudine Niski encouraged motorists to come by the Food Drive in Citrus Heights last weekend.
Rotarians Supporting Rotarians. A group of Passport One members got together to see Mike Reinero's Elf on the Shelf the Musical.
Brad Asbury & Sara Thornros helped feed those in need for the  Salvation Army.
PASSPORT ONE FOUNDATION

Thanks to those who helped work the Aftershock festival.  Our Passport One Foundation received $2,000 from our own Adam Campbell for our club's involvement in the event!

AND our Foundation Chair Bob Mutchler put on a great Beer Pairing event for End Polio that raised over $5,000!

AND Our last club meeting in November (Foundation Month) raised over $150.

We're really on a role now with our Foundation. Know a need in the community? Let us know!
