PRESIDENTIAL THOUGHTS
Greetings Rotary Passport Club Member!
MEMBERSHIP – Three New Members Joined In March! – I am very pleased to announce the addition of three new members to our fine organization.
Allan Frumkin – Law Offices of Allan R. Frumkin, Inc. – Al is a highly decorated and experienced Rotarian. Most recently from the Rotary Club of Loomis Sunset (which he helped form and charter) and also formerly of the Rotary Club of Granite Bay, Al is a multiple club Past President and has an extensive resume of work in our District and throughout Rotary. Al is a great Rotarian to know and be among our membership.
Jenna Bracket – Exchange Bank – SBA Business Development Officer – Jenna is new to Rotary, lives in Citrus Heights and works at the Roseville offices of Exchange Bank. She has already attended one of our mixers and we are so glad she decided to join!
Christina Harris – HelmsBriscoe / Events By Christina – Manager, Global Accounts / Owner – Christina is formerly of the Rotary Club of South Placer. As you can see by her work titles above, she likes to stay busy and loves to plan events. Maybe she can help give us advice on how to make our events more spectacular. Welcome, Christina!
YOUNG PROFESSIONALS SUMMIT – THIS SATURDAY, APRIL 16TH AT THE DANTE CLUB – 2330 FAIR OAKS BLVD IN SACRAMENTO – This is a “First of its Kind” event for Emerging Rotary Leaders between the ages of 18 and 45. This summit is FREE of charge. The goal is to educate, engage and empower. It is being hosted by Point West Rotarian Samantha Hoshida (who is AWESOME – you gotta meet her!).
LEADERSHIP – Your Club Needs YOU! – Soon, your President-Elect, Dwight Chambers will be taking the helm and he can’t do it all alone! If you ever thought of easing into leadership, then Passport Club leadership positions are for you! There are 12 different positions to choose from, so reach out to Dwight and see what is available.
ROTARY AT WORK DAY – Rotary at Work Day is April 30th. On this day, almost every club in the district will be working on some sort of project. This is a great day to put on your calendar to participate, because there is a good chance there is something going on near you!! Check our upcoming events calendar for more specifics. I have also attached a flier for you to order a Rotarian at Work T-Shirt. They are super nice and super affordable (thanks to Rotarian, Val Mebust, of Promote Me in Roseville). Get your order in soon!!
SERVICE PROJECTS – See The Upcoming Events Calendar – Our Service Director, JoAnne Tanner, has tirelessly filled our Upcoming Events Calendar with every event she can lay her hands on. If you are feeling that need to reach out and help a local Rotary club with an upcoming service project, check it out!
