Bring a $10 - $25 gift card (Target, Wal-Mart, etc) to be donated to Lilliput Children's Services, a Northern California non-profit specializing in foster care and adoption services. As you all know, foster children have many needs, but at this time of the year, wouldn’t it be a beautiful gift if we could help them buy something special for themselves?

This is a special year for our Foundation because, we are celebrating its 100^th anniversary. It was June of 1917 when Rotary received its first donation of $26.50 from the Kansas City Rotary Club. The funds were for the Endowment Fund suggested by President Arch Klumph "for the purpose of doing good." The second donation received was for $10, and gradually that Endowment Fund has turned into a multimillion dollar Foundation.

In the months to come, I will share some of our Foundations milestones with you, but for now, I want to make sure you all know how to access information about your individual contributions. First, go to Rotary.org and click “My Rotary.” First time users will need to register with your member RI number. After you register, scroll down the left side and click on “Profile.” Then click “Donor History Report,” and click “Individual Report.” If you need help creating a new account or making a donation, feel free to reach out to me.

Service Hours

How can you complete 40 hours of service a year? Check out our Events Calendar on the side of our bulletin and on our website for Rotary service projects and fundraisers. Attend a Rotary club meeting, give blood in the name of Rotary Passport Club, or perform self-directed community service. just report your time at:
