We typically meet the 3rd Thursday of other month, alternating between Club Meetings (odd months) and Social Meetups (even months).

For our Club Meetings, we meet at The Officer's Club (3410 Westover St, McClellan Park, CA 95652) starting at 6pm. 

For Rotary Passport members, attendance to our bimonthly meetings is covered as part of your membership dues. Otherwise, all other Rotarians and guests cost $25 for dinner.

Come join us for the last meeting of this term. We will have 2 speakers at this meeting - Amber Jewison (Chapter President at Sleep in Heavely Peace) and Jackie Simon (CASA Sacramento).. We will also talk about things coming next term including the new Board Member nominees and June's Elevation Party. Please RSVP as soon as possible. Come join us to party and celebrate the changing of the Board and Leroy Ellinghouse as the next President for the 2025-2026 term.

Join us on Friday, June 13th (yes, Friday the 13th!) at the Roseville Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner and no host bar. 

$30 per person (includes salad, entree, ice cream and soft drink). Entree Options: Meat Lovers Treat (Meatballs, sausage, and spaghetti with meat sauce), Chicken Marsala (chicken with mushroom and wine sauce and side of spaghetti with mizithra), or Spaghetti with Mushroom Sauce (marinara topped with sauteed mushrooms)

Come join us for our first meeting of the 25/26 term! Our first speaker will be our new District Governor, Megan Ellinghouse. Megan will be sharing about all the great things planned for District 5180 this year. Also presenting at our first meeting will be Assistant Governor John Price from Point West and Arden Arcade President Matt Ross. We'll also be hearing about all the things our Board has planned for Passport One.

Come for a fun night of dinner and music (and yes, dancing if the music moves you!). This is the first of the Officer's Club's summer concert series. Every Friday, there will be a different band. August 1st is Adam Aldama & The Aces. Entry to the concert is free!

Please RSVP if you plan to join us for dinner on the patio as the Officer's Club is not accepting reservations for the concert series evenings. Dinner and drinks are no-host.

Point West Rotary's 31st Annual California Brewers Festival - the club is looking for volunteers from PP1 (and friends) to pour beer at one of the BEST Brewers Festival's in Northern California. The event is on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Discovery Park in Sacramento.

Come join us and celebrate Foundation month. Kumaraswamy "Siva" Sivakumaran will be sharing information with us regarding Human Trafficking and Grants within District 5180. 

Additional speakers will be

* Cyndi Swindle, Principal of John Morris Elementary School. A bunch of RP1 members worked a very hot June Saturday at John Morris Elementary School's grounds and community garden helping to clear out planter beds and trim bushes and trees. 

*Tony Meyers. Tony is a profession civil engineer and will be speaking about the State Water Project.

We will also be presenting Bigger Than Us Arts with a donation from our 1st Annual Crawfish Celebration.

15th Annual Feed My Starving Children 'MobilePack' food packing event starting at 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 16, through Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 2:00 pm. The event will take place at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Rocklin. The goal is to pack 400,00 meals during this packing event. If you haven't participated before, I encourage you to volunteer. It is a fun event, working alongside other service-minded people in our community.

The South Placer Club will be volunteering on Saturday, October 18, at the 9:00 to 11:00 am shift; our members are welcome to join them.

PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING A DONATION

Our local effort is required to raise the money to pay for the meals we pack. At 29 cents a meal, the average person can pack approximately $50 worth of food in a two-hour shift. As you might imagine, even at just 29 cents a meal the costs add add up — to $116,000 for 400,000 meals.

Get ready for a night full of fun, great food, and unforgettable performances - because it's time for Rotary Passport One's Dinner and Karaoke Social!

Join your fellow Rotarians for a casual evening where good conversation meets great music. Whether you're a karaoke superstar, part of the cheering audience, or enthusiastic group sing-a-long member, it will be a perfect night to kick back with great food and great people. Come ready to laugh, sing, and eat! 

Everyone is responsible for their own food and drinks. Please RSVP by end of day Wednesday, October 15th. We need a minimum of 15. Guests are welcome!

Rotary Work Day - working with the Arden Arcade Rotary Club at River Bend Park in Sacramento.

Help is needed with painting and graffiti removal, building and repairing picnic benches and tables, mulching pathways etc. and moving and triming tall grass on pathways.
