Centennial Dinner with Rotary International President John Germ What a great night to enjoy the company of fellow Rotarians in Passport (JoAnne Tanner, Sam Anderson, Pat Braziel, Leigh-Ann Reinero, Janice Gage, Greg Dixon, Cindy & Chris Berta) and in District 5180 and listen to RI President, John Germ talk about all the good the Rotary Foundation does around the world. We also had the opportunity to hear about a new Rotary focus...Trafficking. Brian Gladden and PDG Bob Deering gave a compelling speech about why this is such an important project for Rotary to get behind and make a change. Because Sacramento is such a hot spot for trafficking, Brian and Bob have begun working with local organizations and hospitals about how Rotary can assist with education and help those who have escaped. There is much work to be done and I'm sure more information to come.
