One of the things I love most about a new year is thinking of all the wonderful things ahead. For Mike Reinero and I, this means looking forward to our daughter, Sophia, graduating high school and beginning a new chapter in her life. It's the hope that all Mike's hard work trying to get a start-up business going strong works out to our advantage. It means looking forward to a trip to Peru.
But it also means we can look ahead to all the ways we can give back to our community. For me, it's giving blood regularly, helping other Rotary clubs with projects or attending their meetings & events, helping at my local theaters, and being a Girl Scout Leader. All of these activities help me acquire the 40 hours of service needed as a member of the Rotary Passport Members.
If you haven't submitted your hours for the past 6 months or less, it's not too late to catch up. Just click on the link below to report your hours. Let's see how many "Lives" our club can save this year.
